Job Responsibilities:

 

• Collect, monitor, and retain documentation for each biweekly payroll in accordance with federal and state guidelines, and maintain confidentiality of these files 

• Oversee time-keeping functionality and process adjustments, if any, to employee reported hours 

• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission  

• Work cross-functionally with regional managers to maintain payroll procedures and ensure accuracy of time-keeping 

Assist in preparation of the month-end accrued payroll expense 

• Process all properly documented and approved requests for changes in pay rates 

• Process off-cycle payroll requests as necessary   

• Work closely with HR to ensure deductions for benefits are being accurately recorded and processed 

• Update and maintain HRIS with all relevant payroll information 

Assist with other projects as needed 

  

  Requirements :

1 year of Workday Payroll processing experience required

• Currently using Workday for payroll is required

• 5 years of multi-site payroll experience

• Some Microsoft Excel skills 

• Experience in a high growth (primarily acquisition) environment is preferred 

  Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.

• Experience with ADP smart compliance, payroll taxes, and garnishments

• CPP certification
