  • And many, many more (Ask your recruiter for more details!)

What you will be doing:

  • Manage projects involving a wide range of technical field studies, analyses, and regulatory and permitting tasks
  • Prepare proposals and support marketing efforts for energy, water, or infrastructure clients
  • Provide senior-level expertise and technical guidance on complex projects involving Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, federal and state laws, and agency consultations
  • Provide leadership to wildlife biologists and wetland scientists and help to mentor, train, and guide junior and mid-level staff
  • Lead and/or perform field work, including plant and wildlife habitat assessments/surveys, wetland delineations and functional assessments, preparing technical reports, USACE 404/1O permit applications, and mitigation plans

What you need to have (minimum qualifications):

  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or applicable fields (government, consulting, academia)

What we would like you to have (preferred qualifications):

  • Experience working with resource agencies and developing complex environmental and regulatory strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental consulting practices and environmental laws.
  • Experience working with clients and common project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train teams of technical specialists.
  • Ability to present clear solutions to complex problems to clients and regulators.
  • Business-minded with an eye towards client engagement and market growth.
  • Technical writing skills and ability to review, QA/QC, and provide feedback to technical staff
