We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with skills in AWS, and experience of running public infrastructure to support and operate complex hybrid environments. We like people who get involved in all levels of technical discussions, from architecture to hands on coding. You will join a friendly, highly-collaborative team in Poland with immediate access to the latest certifications and world-class training schemes!
On-call: You will join a weekly rota and can expect to be on-call roughly once every 6 weeks, receiving additional compensation.
Work location: Remote (you must live in Poland).
Primary ObjectivesLead critical deployments and align with the needs of the customerEnsure high quality delivery of the cloud service from the technical perspectiveIdentify and drive technical/deployment improvementsConsult with our customer’s individual AWS project teams regarding architecture, compliance, and all other requirementsEnable the DevOps projects for successful production stateCollect ideas from the projects and feed back to Cloud Management Office and architecture managementIdentify possible risks in the projects’ deployments and help mitigate them without direct technical hands-onLead technical root cause analysisCreate direct value for the individual projects, not slideware Manage production change approval process Job Requirements:Long term AWS hands-on experience with proven track recordExperience in deploying and configuration of CI/CD pipelinesExperience in multi account/subscription IaC structuresPractical experience in DevOps and SysOps modelAWS Solution Architect certificationExperience in AWS designs for different applications with proven track record Practical experience in DevOps and SysOps modelYou work in a joint team with the customer’s IT, Amazon Web Services ProServ and Rackspace with a high dree of mutual respect and cooperationPerson SpecificationAdvisory, argumentation and convincing skillsAbility to assume customer’s perspectiveTake over accountability and risksBe a technical ambassador between the customer's Cloud Management Office and Rackspace PS service deliveryHigh identification with Rackspace as a company#LI-LP2
