Job description

About the Role:

As part of the FP&A team, you will oversee the consolidated financial forecasting of the corporate P&L and cash flows.  Also, this role will partner closely with the R&D  and G&A teams by performing financial analysis and modeling, designing and preparing financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to management.This person will also ensure financial and operating decisions for the organization are based on accurate financial data and apply financial expertise to inform overall strategy.

What you will do:
  • Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles — bringing past experience to help scale our processes and ensure continued accuracy and analysis in each quarterly cycle.
  • Monthly reporting against the forecasts and budgets providing insights and analysis to assist the business leaders in improving financial performance.
  • Own and manage the corporate financial forecast model and assist with Long Term strategic financial planning
  • Serve as the business partner to R&D, Hardware, Product, and G&A leadership providing sound financial guidance & decision making
  • Own and manage product and project P&L projections and business cases with high predictability, considering all operational aspects and their impacts on the corporate financials
  • COGS forecasting and analysis for SaaS and hardware and develop recommendations for optimization  
  • Continuously identify and communicate all risks and opportunities against the budget and/or forecast(s)
  • Bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to your work, developing open communications and productive work relationships across the Finance organization.
  • Lead implementation of new FP&A planning tool and serve as system administrator 
  • Financial analysis on an ad hoc basis  

  • Who you are:
  • BS degree in business, finance, or related field
  • 10+ years FP&A experience in a public traded SaaS company
  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and superior analytical skills
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel
  • Planful experience is a plus
  • Prior experience in software engineering/technology a plus

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 to $187,500 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
