We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in functional and design review, test case development, and automation using Cypress/selenium. The ideal candidate will have experience in eCommerce platforms like Adobe, Shopify and a passion for ensuring product quality. They should be familiar with the full Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and have experience with both manual and automated testing. The candidate should exhibit a passion for innovation, and harbor a genuine belief in, and acceptance of Corra core values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The individual in this role will be responsible for the following:

•  Analyze client requirements and design automated test strategies to validate features and functionality across ecommerce-based platforms.
• Set up and maintain the automated testing environment to execute test cases using Cypress/selenium and other automation tools.
• Conduct review meetings to align on test scope, planning, and execution strategies, particularly for automation workflows.
•  Develop, analyze, and execute automated test cases in Cypress and track results in tools like Zephyr or TestRail.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, collaborating closely with development teams for swift resolution.
• Communicate effectively with the Test Manager and stakeholders to ensure that testing aligns with project requirements and deadlines.
•  Work with cross-functional development teams to diagnose issues, resolve defects, and optimize the automation testing process.
• Drive continuous improvement in process and product quality through test automation best practices.
• Collaborate with international QA and development teams to troubleshoot technical and non-technical issues.
• Generate and analyze historical data on automated test results to provide insights into product quality and performance over time.
• Develop and maintain test plans for automated testing based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Create robust error-handling procedures within the automated test scripts to ensure accurate test results.
• Perform automated security testing to ensure application security compliance.
• Ensure adherence to data integrity standards through automated validation techniques.
• Participate in installation, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that automated tests cover critical workflows.
• Ensure compliance with both industry standards and internal quality benchmarks for automated testing.

REQUIREMENTS:

•  3 to 6 years of experience in QA automation, including the creation of test plans, automated test scripts, and documentation for testing processes. Experience with tools like Cypress and exposure to test management tools such as Zephyr or TestRail is a plus.
• Full Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) experience, including system, regression, performance, and database testing, with a focus on automation.
•  Hands-on experience testing web-based applications across different browsers and mobile devices, with proficiency in automating these test cases.
• eCommerce experience is highly preferred, particularly with platforms like Shopify (experience with Magento, Commercetools, etc., is a plus).
• Familiarity with QA reporting and test verification processes within any automated QA tool.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, XP) as well as Waterfall practices.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance best practices with a focus on automating testing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
