We are seeking a Senior Product Director, Provider Data Management to join our product leadership team to lead our Provider Data Management (PDM) product portfolio. Our PDM solution solves a core industry pain point caused by out-of-date / incorrect provider data and directories.  Inaccuracies in this data results administrative friction and ultimately delays in care impacting patients.  Our solution provides a single source of truth for this data trusted by providers and health plan alike.  Come join the Availity team leading a key area of growth for the company!

To be qualified for this position you have:

  • 10-15 years of experience managing in managing products with at least 5 years in leadership role.
  • Proven success in managing software solutions from inception to launch.
  • Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle and experience in managing financial performance and developing business cases, market/product requirements, product strategy and roadmaps, pricing, and launch materials and monitoring and improving client and user satisfaction through NPS and other metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage the market to surface unmet needs and opportunities using modern Product Discovery techniques and communicate our product vision in a compelling way.
  • Demonstrated a clear understanding of your role as the primary coach of your product managers, leading through context rather than control.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and to facilitate remote multi-stakeholder teams in decision making.
  • Possesses strong business analysis, problem solving, and strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent understanding of data and ability to use data to measure progress towards key metrics
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and a team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, Computer Science, or related discipline.

You will set yourself apart with:

  • Knowledge of pain points and experience innovating solutions to support digital engagement between health plans and healthcare providers to reduce costs, streamline and remove waste from administrative processes.
  • Prior experience managing healthcare clearinghouse, payer gateway, revenue cycle management or similar products; proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding growth goals.
  • Market thought leadership through prior engagement with WEDI, X12 or similar industry groups; deep understanding of interoperability activities and ways to maximize Availity’s market share through standards.
  • Master’s Degree and / or an advanced degree.

You will:

  • Recruiting and leading a team of high performing product managers, helping to develop their craft and career paths.
  • Continuously improving Availity's product management team’s impact and productivity, building a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborating effectively with C-Suite, PMs, Engineering, Design, and Data to create, plan, and own our company-wide product roadmap.
  • Developing a team of product managers, designers, and data analysts to support business growth.
  • Maintaining the product roadmap, and clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes throughout the company.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to get buy-in/approval/guidance, including lines of business, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Fraud, and others.
  • Guiding creative brief and influencing Design to ensure an intuitive and delightful UI/UX.
  • Defining, monitoring, and tracking KPIs and developing concrete point of view on insights to present to leadership.
  • Making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market.
  • Building and maintaining annual release plan, managing feature delivery from discovery to validation in production.
  • Gathering information and leading subsequent product design, creative, development, and testing activities.
  • Prioritizing and pursuing the highest impact opportunities using data to back up your decisions.
  • Collaborating with Customers, CEO & CTO to create an annual release plan that delivers on the business’s goals.
  • Working with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to build, test, and ship product experiments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Monitoring, measuring, and interpreting key metrics across the organization.
