Scope of Position:
Trustwell is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to operate as a key member of the finance operations team who will ensure timely processing of customer invoicing and payments, uses customer portals for processing billing issues, and works proactively on collections and other accounting initiatives. This role is crucial in maintaining positive client relationships and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Daily posting customer payments of cash, lockbox, credit card and remote check deposits
- Research, analyze, and reconcile customer account information for customer payment discrepancies or applications
- Complete a variety of Accounts Receivable maintenance functions examples: adjustments, refunds, and cash applications
- Review Customer’s sales tax exemption certificate and update account records.
- Review new account applications for terms, making decisions & recommendations for credit limits and terms against existing credit matrix
- Provide customer service support to external and internal customers.
- Perform additional assignments as needed or directed by the Accounting Department
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- Associate’s degree, or higher, in business administration, accounting, or similar; preferred.
- Five + years of experience working in an accounting environment managing receivables and customer accounts; required. Multi-national collections a plus.
- Maxio/SaaS Optics experience; desired.
- Experience with ERP system (NetSuite) and CRM SalesForce; desired.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including PC skills [ e.g., email, outlook, word]; required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal/external customers via phone, email, etc.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with customers to overcome invoicing/collection challenges.
- Willingness to identify, adopt, and advocate new processes and procedures
- Ability to organize and plan work effectively to meet department goals and deadlines
- Ability to problem solve by completing root cause analyses and proposing appropriate solutions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, including strong mathematical and computational skills
- Exemplifying a deep level of integrity and professional business standards.
