This position is responsible for ensuring that the Company’s technology and data are secure from malicious attacks that may breach or expose the Company’s IT systems, employee information, or intellectual property. This position performs advanced security engineering tasks including detection and analysis of cyber security threats, forensic investigations, network security design, vulnerability scans and remediation, and would assist in managing and carrying our IT security projects and initiatives. We are looking for a security expert who is self-driven and highly motivated to drive continuous improvement. This role requires expert level technical skills across a broad security portfolio, as well as the desire to lead projects / initiatives across a very diverse technical landscape.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementation and support Subject Matter Expert on Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, Threat Modeling, Data Loss Prevention, Identity and Access Management.

  • Drive continuous improvement implementing modern security engineering concepts and security-by-design principles.

  • Develop and deploy security integrations, policies, automation, and best practices.

  • Ability to implement and maintain security platforms, IDS/IPS, anti-virus software, log management, authentication systems, content filtering, etc.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Expert knowledge of information security requirements, compliance, standards, controls, and frameworks

  • Knowledge of security areas such as Auditing, Policy, Database Security, Firewall Design and Implementation, Risk Analysis, Identity Management, Access Management, CCPA, GDPR, or Web Services.

  • Prior experience working tickets (and with end users) within a support center.

  • Experience managing user accounts in AD and o365 environments.

  • Expert knowledge in building zero-trust infrastructure.

  • Experience with network security, especially using technologies such as Cisco.

  • Experience with red team / penetration test processes & tools (incl. social engineering).

  • Experience building and deploying a vulnerability management program consisting of defining processes & tools selection.

  • Expert knowledge and awareness of current cyber security trends and hacking techniques.

  • Expert knowledge of Security Information & Event Management systems (SIEMs) such as Sentinel.

  • Expert knowledge and experience deploying / supporting security toolsets such as: Crowdstrike, Defender, Proofpoint, Tenable.
