Job description

Velocity Global is looking for a Senior Cash Application Specialist based in Argentina to join our growing Finance team. The Senior Cash Application Specialist is responsible for the application of cash paid to outstanding invoices and will work with the Invoicing Specialists to resolve outstanding, unapplied cash as well as supporting customers to ensure proper reconciliation of incoming cash.

You will report to the Director, Finance Management.

You will be fully remote based in Argentina.

You Will

  • Process, research and record accounts receivable payments/credits in multiple currencies
  • Reconcile receivable accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and posted timely and with accuracy
  • Communicate with customers to retrieve payment remittances
  • Reconcile daily cash to bank statement
  • Work cross-functionally with other Velocity Global teams to ensure service continuity
  • Foster an attitude of continuous process improvement as it relates to Accounts Receivable

You Have

  • 5 years of experience in Accounting and cash application experience is ideal
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software
  • Experience analyzing data and reconciling customer accounts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working cross-functionally with other areas of the organization
  • Customer-focused mindset, and passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Display appropriate ethical knowledge with integrity and professional presentation
  • Strong accounting analytical skills to solve complex challenges
