The Challenge Ahead

Exciting news! With CloudTalk's successful completion of a €28m Series B investment round, our Finance team is expanding and looking for a Financial Controller!

As a Financial Controller at CloudTalk, you'll play a pivotal role in driving key projects and scaling our finance processes. Here's what's in it for you:

• Work on Global-scale Projects: Devote 50% of your time to day-to-day tasks and 50% to global-scale projects and financial modeling, contributing significantly to our journey towards €100m ARR.
• Collaborate with C-level and Senior Leaders: Engage in cross-departmental collaboration with C-level executives and senior leaders, shaping the future of our finance organization.

What you will work on:

• Lead key finance projects that ensure strict compliance with local accounting, taxation, and legal regulations, maintaining accuracy in financial reporting.
• Own monthly reporting, including cash flow oversight, ensuring all financial data is precise and timely.
• Drive financial planning and analysis to guide strategic decision-making and support company growth.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage budgets and lead quarterly forecasting processes.
• Continuously seek out cost-saving opportunities and ways to improve operational efficiency.
• Work cross-functionally to gather, process, and analyze financial data to inform decisions.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders like accounting advisors, tax consultants, legal counsel, and investors.

What makes you a great fit:

• Proven experience leading complex finance projects from start to finish, taking ownership and driving results.
• You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and are passionate about optimizing finance processes as we scale.
• A results-driven mindset, with a strong ability to use data for impactful decision-making.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Professional fluency in English, fluency in Slovak or Czech is a big plus
