Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Aryaka, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth through proactive lead generation and qualification. This role requires a motivated and results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of sales processes, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. While a bachelor's degree is desirable, it is not required. Previous experience in a similar role, especially in a SaaS or technology company, is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with potential customers through phone calls, emails, and networking to establish trust and rapport.

Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify leads using various methods, including BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) and CHAMPS (Challenges, Authority, Money, Prioritization, and Solution).

Sales-Ready Opportunities: Convert leads into sales-ready opportunities (SALs) by arranging quality meetings and ensuring prospects' needs align with our solutions.

Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitive activities to stay informed and adapt outreach strategies accordingly.

Lead Generation: Utilize cold calling, cold emailing, and networking to generate leads, leveraging insights gathered from behavioral data and customer profiles.

Innovative Outreach: Continuously brainstorm and implement creative strategies to engage the target audience and generate genuine interest, including social selling techniques.

Documentation: Thoroughly document all activities and interactions in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead management and accurate prospect information.

Performance Targets: Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly performance targets, demonstrating a results-oriented approach.

Collaboration: Work closely with our Chief Commercial Officer and cross-functional teams to align efforts and drive success.

Performance Objectives:

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop leads into sales-ready opportunities.
  • Build rapport with prospects via telephone and email.
  • Successfully manage and overcome sales objections to generate interest.
  • Transform marketing and prospected leads into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Conduct target company/contact research and vet leads.
  • Document all activities in Salesforce for efficient lead management.
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

Short-Term Goals:

  • Within the first 14 days, understand our value proposition and product offerings.
  • Within the first 30 days, establish a pipeline and start working towards quarterly sales targets.
