It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite for three (3) or more days a week and will have a dedicated workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Summary of the Job:

 

Work with a team of credit card credit risk managers and analysts to perform credit analysis of the credit card loan portfolios as well as perform reporting and ad-hoc analysis. Determine areas of opportunity and develop recommendations for changes. Monitor the ongoing credit performance of portfolios and newly booked vintages, develop reporting and analytic process improvements, maintain high standard of efficient coding skills.

About This Role:

 

1. Credit risk analysis and reporting as assigned.

a. Must have the ability to operate independently in a research capacity.

b. Ability to identify root causes of issues and report on those causes.

2. Monitor ongoing delinquency and loss performance of credit card portfolios, identified and investigate trends and report on findings.

3. Build strong cross functional working relationships with peers and management.

4. Understand and comply with Bank policy laws, regulations, and Bank programs as applicable to job duties.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or advanced degree, preferably in quantitative discipline.

2. Strong coding skills (Python preferred).

3. Ability to adapt and manage multiple deadlines.

4. A good understanding of financial services data.

 

Desired Qualification

1.  Bachelor’s or higher preferably in a STEM field

2.  1-3 years’ experience in a coding/stats environment

 

Additional Qualifications:

1. General understanding of consumer lending.

2. Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally including with operational and technical staff and peers.

3. Be a self-starter and take the initiative to go above and beyond.

 

Compensation:

 

Compensation range (base pay): $60,830.00-$100,370.00

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
