Under the direction of the U-Box A.P. Manager, the Invoicing Specialist will audit billing discrepancies and pricing disputes with U-Box’s vendors with the goal of decreasing time to payment and invoicing errors. The Invoicing Specialist is responsible for maintaining constant communication via email and phone with vendors as well as proper records relating to payment.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve discrepancies with invoices, purchase orders and payments

  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors

  • Organize electronic and paper records

  • Schedule and run periodic meetings with vendors

  • Collaborate with the U-Box team to research and investigate freight issues

Requirements:

  • 1+ years in customer service or office setting OR an Associate’s degree

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Patience and attention to detail absolutely required

  • Ability to learn new processes and systems

  • Experience in shipping and operations a plus

  • Knowledge of the U-Box program a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
