Job description



The Insurance Loss Control Valuation Review Specialist provides support to our Canadian Branch operations to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding team growth objectives. They complete valuation inputs to client standards and review surveys to internal and client standards, while providing corrections and report revision as directed. The Valuation Review Specialist additionally monitors and identifies common errors or corrections and then collaborates with the Production Development Manager to assist consultants needing additional support and areas to improve production.  
 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Produce Personal Lines valuations using Core Logic and E2Value to ensure replacement cost estimates are done correctly and within tolerance or explained otherwise. 

  • Communicate with consultants through the utilization of phone and email when required.  

  • Oversee the consultants assigned to Self-Assessment work; monitor client workflows; including review and billing while generating month end reports to clients and Regional Director. 

  • Participates in internal meetings with focus on servicing clients to meet required expectations, outline exceptions, and customizations. 

  • Review loss control survey reports submitted by consultants and employees. Assists with corrections, errors, and other queries on surveys.  

  • Reviews, monitors, and takes sole responsibility for specific client accounts as assigned. 

  • Review, revise, and communicate with Reps on Apex drawings not meeting standards. 

  • Bill surveys as per Billing instructions on file. 

  • Provides support to Production Development Manager (PDM) by helping develop training materials and identifying consultants who need additional support or instruction. 

  • Works with the Director of Quality Control and Regional Director to develop client requirements for special instruction documentation. 

  • Communicate positive encouragement, consultation, and support to consultation to consultants within operations and the review department. 

  • Supports quality control for technical questions in Personal Lines surveys. 

  • Trains on Core Logic for commercial valuations, review, and billing  

  • Improves and expands upon relationships between AFIRM and Consultants 

  • Supports growth of the Personal Lines High-Net-Worth survey production and development.  

  • Develop tracking for valuation and self-assessment metrics. 

  • Work with valuation providers for additional training on application of tools. 

  • Provide ongoing training/mentoring of other employees on use of valuation tools. 

  • Attends regular Client meetings, as required. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required 
  • This is a remote role, but candidate must be located in Canada
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience required in Personal Lines Valuations using Core Logic and E2Value 

  • 3 years’ experience in Personal Lines Survey Review 

  • Skills in training or training support preferred.  

  • Commercial experience is an asset.  

  • Bilingual is an asset.
