Key Responsibilities

• Forecast demand and strategically order products to meet customer needs.
• Negotiate optimal prices, quality, and service levels with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Optimize inventory management while maintaining service standards and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to fulfill job objectives.
• Conduct post-promotional evaluations to assess performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies at the store level.
• Analyze data to track key performance metrics and inform decision-making.
• Visit stores to collect feedback and evaluate program execution.
• Manage accounts payable processes and address billing inconsistencies.
• Maintain precise records and documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure seamless product flow.
  
  

Required Skills

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in meat buying within retail or wholesale environments.
• Preferred experience in marketing, logistics, or store operations.
• Strong understanding of grocery procurement, inventory management, and financial oversight.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
