Strongbridge has an engaging opportunity for a talented Data Analyst/DBA to support the Department of Transporation and the public to help ensure safety on the nation's railways. The candidate will work with a talented team of data engineers on an enterprise level business intelligence system. Candidates must be clearable for a Public Trust Position.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze raw data and interpret trends in data sets.
- Build data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure tools utilizing SQL and Python.
- Create data models and build/present visualizations in Power BI.
- Use Azure Synapse Analytics as an enterprise analytics service.
- Work with customers on analysis requirements and data ingestion processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field- 5+ years experience as a data analyst.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret raw data from various sources.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with other programming languages such as Python.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience in Azure Cloud using Azure Data Lake Services, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, SQL Managed Instance etc.
Desired
- Experience utilizing Databricks- Experience with Collibra.
- Experience with Database Administration.
Pay Range: $105k-$125k
The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
