For the Data Engineer position, we are looking for a professional who knows how to provide the best technical environment for data scientists to create their deliverables, define, manage and optimize cloud solutions in terms of performance and costs, execute and optimize network configuration, write technical design documents related to overall performance, data storage, data lake /data warehouse, CI/CD, DataOps, data pipeline solutions (ETL/ELT), IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

• Write technical design documents;
• Control the databricks environment;
• Manage AWS, Azure and GCP cloud components;
• Develop solutions using (Java/Python/Spark/Scala);
• Configuring network components in hybrid environments;
• Defining best practices for relational and non-relational data storage;
• Implementing improvements to Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments;
• Implementing and managing SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Defining and developing DevOps, Docker and Kubernetes solutions;
• Discussing and defining the best solutions for system integrations;
• Supporting the creation of data governance processes;
• Discussing the best solutions to support the company's self-service BI strategy.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with agile methodologies;
• Experience in Databricks, SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, Data Lake, Data Warehouse and data visualization tools;
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud Watch, KMS, Glue, lambda, S3, redshift, snowflake, jenkins, gitlab, denodo, kubernetes;
• High learning capacity.
