Job Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide exceptional remote educational support for students throughout Virginia. In this pivotal role, you will address the distinctive learning requirements of students with visual impairments, fostering their academic success within a virtual classroom environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized instruction and assistance to visually impaired students in an online setting.
  • Partner with fellow educators, families, and school personnel to design and execute effective educational strategies.
  • Modify instructional resources and activities to suit the needs of students with visual impairments.
  • Track and evaluate student development, providing consistent feedback and necessary adjustments to promote educational achievement.
  • Utilize various virtual platforms and tools to ensure high-quality education and maintain effective communication with students, families, and staff.
