Job Description

Position overview: 

The Reporting Analyst role within Data & Insights focuses on delivering impactful reports to both clients directly and through Customer Success Managers. You'll leverage your analytical expertise to uncover actionable insights and support the Reporting & Insights team. We seek a highly detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to translate data into valuable business intelligence. This role thrives in a dynamic virtual environment, requiring a self-motivated individual with a strong team ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile data-driven reports by leveraging research and social listening tools to extract actionable insights that drive informed decision-making
  • Maintain strict adherence to client timelines, ensuring timely delivery of reports according to a consistent schedule to meet client expectations
  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability by effectively managing crisis situations and responding promptly to urgent ad-hoc requests, ensuring client needs are met even under pressure
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to efficiently organize, analyze, and present data in a clear and understandable manner, enhancing the readability and impact of reports
  • Proactively monitor data accuracy by identifying and resolving discrepancies, investigating potential issues, and implementing corrective measures promptly to maintain the integrity of reports
  • Apply creative and strategic thinking to optimize data analysis techniques and report design, maximizing the value delivered to clients through innovative insights and visualizations
  • Foster a collaborative environment by providing support to team members during periods of high project volume, promoting teamwork and ensuring the successful delivery of reports

*Please note this is a one year fixed term contract* 

Qualifications

 

  • The ability to craft clear, concise, and error-free reports tailored to diverse audiences, including Fortune 500 clients
  • A meticulous approach to data management and report generation, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy and reflect a sense of ownership over the final product
  • The ability to demonstrate agility and adaptability in addressing crisis situations and urgent ad-hoc requests by effectively prioritizing tasks, managing time efficiently, and delivering high-quality reports under tight deadlines
  • The capacity to work effectively within a virtual team environment, manage projects within tight timelines
  • Strong technical skills demonstrated through experience with relevant software applications, including those used for data analysis, reporting, social media management, and project management
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to utilize equivalent functionalities within Google Suite products.
  • A keen understanding of current social media trends and a strong grasp of relevant industry trends and current events
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication. Proficiency in additional languages is an asset
  • Experience utilizing major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) for data collection and analysis

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $40k-$50k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
