Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) for SAP ABAP (Cloud)
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- You work within an experienced team on new and innovative cloud solutions for OpenText™ Extended ECM for SAP® Solutions, our very successful SAP reseller product
- You will responsibly be involved in the entire software product life cycle including conception, design, specification, implementation, system integration, testing, and maintenance
- Structure, design, and implement development tasks in coordination with product management and architects as a passionate developer, balancing risk, complexity, and the effort to meet requirements
- Develop new product functionality, take on ownership for enhancing and maintaining our existing product
- You follow our agile development process as an in-house developer with the flexibility to work from home on a regular basis
- Constantly upgrade your knowledge of the latest technologies and standards and be passionate about new technologies and innovations around the SAP Business Technology Platform
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent technical qualification with comparable technical skills and at least 12 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of software design and object-oriented development to familiarize yourself flexibly and quickly with the "Open Text ECM Suite for SAP"
- In the context of SAP S/4HANA, S/4 HANA Cloud good knowledge of SAP architecture, development tools, integration & extensibility capabilities, and technologies
- Very good hands-on experience in ABAP OO application development
- Ideally, good knowledge of the new ABAP programming models introduced with S/4 HANA for FIORI/RAP, CDS views, and ODATA
- Experience in SAP BTP ABAP Environment and SAP BTP Services is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking skills, solution and scenario-oriented thinking, and ability to work independently and within an agile environment
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English, German would be an asset
