Responsibilities

The Director of Finance will oversee all financial operations, from financial planning and analysis to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. As a member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic guidance to the CEO and other executives, ensuring that the company’s financial health is aligned with its growth objectives. The ideal candidate is hands-on, entrepreneurial, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives.
• Conduct financial modeling and risk management analysis to support business decisions.
• Manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational and investment needs.
• Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, tax, and compliance activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Provide regular financial forecasts and track performance against budgets.
• Identify key drivers of revenue, costs, and margins to optimize financial performance.
• Partner with the CEO and board to support capital raising and manage relationships with investors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, planning, and analysis.
• Start-up (SaaS) experience or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• CPA designation is highly desirable.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
