Job description

Raindrop is a leading creative agency and the largest production company in San Diego. We are looking for a dynamic Growth Manager to join our agile, high-performing sales team. This team is responsible for cultivating new growth opportunities for the agency.  As a Growth Manager, you will report directly to the Vice President of Strategy and Growth.  With industry-leading success stories from legendary brands like Dr. Squatch and large-scale companies like Procter and Gamble and Sprouts Market, this person will be equipped with all the tools necessary to drive strategic outbound conversations with ideal potential clients. 

This role will heavily focus on prospecting and driving outbound opportunities for Raindrop. The Vice President of Strategy and Growth, as well as senior leadership, will be involved and available as needed for RFPs, client meetings, sales strategy, and anything else that is needed to help this role succeed.

Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Outbound
    • Drive outbound sales and business development efforts for Raindrop
      • Utilizing LinkedIn, Networking, Events, etc. 
      • Targeting primarily DtC brands of all sizes, established CPG brands and consumer technology companies
    • Hit and/or exceed monthly and annual outbound sales goals in order to help the agency to grow and reach new clients
    • Manage Sales CRM (Hubspot) to ensure deal tracking and pipeline management

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience - either creative or media-specific experience.
  • Agency experience is preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of marketing function and CMO/Director-level decision-making processes
  • Comfortable with closing $50k+ Deals
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, collaboration, and creating value for potential clients
  • Self-starter who is used to generating business from scratch
