Job Overview

Are you a dedicated Requirements Manager with a passion for contributing to impactful defense projects? We invite you to join our esteemed professional solutions and services firm, where you will play an integral role in delivering critical IT projects. As a Requirements Manager, you will oversee the processes of requirements and configuration management to uphold the mission-critical systems of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the requirements management process to ensure that both hardware and software systems fulfill established requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage configuration management by utilizing tools and techniques to monitor and control source code, hardware baselines, and configuration adjustments.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving configuration management processes to drive organizational efficiency.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to established requirements and industry standards through regular evaluations.
  • Simultaneously manage and support multiple software and hardware-related projects.
  • Perform configuration management activities for information systems hosted within our client’s data center.

Required Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in requirements management and/or configuration management.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools, including but not limited to Git, Subversion, Ansible, Puppet, and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices such as ITIL, ISO 20000, and IEEE 828.
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems and revision management.
  • Capable of managing software builds, releases, and deployment processes across various environments.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills, with a focus on maintaining comprehensive records and generating insightful reports.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in requirements management and configuration management.
  • Experience in facilitating process retrospectives and driving continuous improvement through Business Process Reengineering (BPR) methodologies is advantageous.
