Operations Associate at BDev Ventures


As an Operations Associate, you will manage, improve, and build the operational infrastructure supporting investment management strategy and business decisions at BDev Ventures. A typical day might include implementing and managing processes, policies, tools, and technologies to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve productivity. You will lead efforts to improve cross-team cohesion around tracking, reporting, and ongoing data management. Additionally, you will document and socialize best practices to enable the Investment and Operations teams, while leveraging data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. You will also analyze startups and market data to drive better decision-making.


What You’ll Do:


- Improve business processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

- Analyze markets and manage Pitchbook accounts.

- Lead small, medium, and large projects around business processes.

- Act as an extension of the leadership team on internal projects.

- Collaborate with the investment team to drive deal sourcing.


What we are looking for:


- Previous experience in operations support within a VC or startup environment.

- Experience defining, refining, and implementing business processes, procedures, and policies.

- Knowledge of business operations and project management.

- Strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to be proactive, take initiative, and practice self-regulation.

- Strong project planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload.

- Advanced English proficiency.
