The Opportunity:

The UTR Sports Pickleball team is looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about the sport of pickleball and dedicated to helping the sport grow domestically and internationally. Every decision made within the UTR Sports Pickleball team has the players in mind. As a member of this team, you would have the opportunity to work alongside our great partners like USA Pickleball (USAP), the Association of Pickleball Players (APP) and also have a direct impact on how we help shape the future of the sport and benefit anyone that picks up a pickleball paddle!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage UTR Sports Pickleball Tournament Player Support (Registration, Rating, Tournament Questions)
• Assist with UTR Sports Pickleball On and Off Site Tournament Operations (Staffing, Scheduling, Bracket Creation, Volunteers, Awards, etc.)
• Generate Pickleball Organizer/Provider leads
• Deliver on Partner and Sponsor obligations as it relates to Tournaments
• Tournament Promotion
• Demonstrate how UTR Sports Pickleball Tournament Management Software (TMS) can be a solution for clubs, facilities and providers to grow the sport of pickleball in a positive/productive way and generate revenue

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited College or University

• Basic understanding of web based and iOS software

• A passion to learn and challenge your own comfort levels

• An understanding of the sport of Pickleball, its rules, relevant associations, platforms and ratings
• Ability to:
• Clearly and efficiently communicate
• Multitask
• React to sudden changes
• Manage relationships with players and providers
• Ability to travel for up to eight (8) days at a time for events as needed.

Benefits

What we Offer:

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $45,000 to $52,000 . The final base salary for this role will take into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location differential associated with where the position will be filled.
