Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop and execute full-cycle recruitment for hourly and professional level roles, ensuring open positions are filled with top performers within the proposed deadlines. The position involves interviewing, sourcing, handling orientation, and managing the associated paperwork. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will become the primary point of contact for agencies, hiring managers, and others looking to fill positions. Communication is crucial, and the specialist must be accessible throughout the day. The primary recruitment focus will be for the York facility and field personnel such as technicians and field services staff who could be dispatched from any area. Daily Duties: - Drive tasks related to sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates. - Assess candidates’ competencies to determine their suitability for the role. - Handle communications with a wide variety of candidates, including hourly manufacturing candidates, technical professionals, and regional leaders. - Use internal and external communication channels to build a high-quality talent pipeline, minimizing time to hire. - Collaborate with the HR Partner to transition candidates through the interview and onboarding process. - Partner with external recruiting agencies as needed. - Post job ads on various job boards, hiring platforms, and forums. - Occasional US travel to plants and meetings to understand business needs. Monday - Friday Day shift hours (flexibility)
Hard Skills
- 3+ years in high volume recruiting from manufacturing/industrial
- Experience with sourcing software - job boards, social media, ATS
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills
