Purpose Of The Role

The role of the Procure to Pay (P2P) Service Delivery Manager is to ensure that the processes set out by the P2P Global Process Owner (GPO) & Delivery Lead are undertaken effectively and to monitor those processes for compliance and improvement. Working closely with the GPO, other team Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and the Invoice to Pay (I2P) delivery team, the Service Delivery Manager is the principle point of escalation for Accounts Payable service delivery queries and will lead the day-to-day operational running of the service and deputise for the GPO when required.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide support to the P2P GPO during a key transformation period in the development of our Purchase to Pay processes. There is a need to provide support to the offshore Invoice to Pay Team, stakeholders and all businesses within the Capita Group during a period of significant change across the P2P landscape
  • Working closely with the P2P GPO & Delivery Lead to develop and maintain accurate and effective operational procedures
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures concerning P2P activity including the testing of Minimum Control Standards
  • Being a point of escalation for P2P/I2P process management issues for onshore, offshore, internal and external clients/vendors including short-term deep dives into issues
  • Supporting the GPO & Delivery Lead on ensuring a high-quality compliance and control environment is in place through the effective review, monitoring and control of all P2P processing activities including purchase orders, invoices, cash forecasting, payments, employee expenses and reconciliations
  • Processing Journals and Invoice uploads when needed
  • Supporting P2P Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on projects and improvement activities
  • Supporting Group Finance initiatives on Year-End working capital management
  • Working collaboratively and taking feedback from stakeholders to ensure their P2P service delivery expectations are met

What We're Looking

  • Strong knowledge and experience of maintaining an effective P2P service including using SAP ECC, KOFAX OCR
  • Ability to operationally lead a small team
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Able to effectively explain complex P2P processes to non-P2P/Finance professionals
  • Experience of working in a global environment, supporting teams in various locations
