Position Overview:
Certchain is seeking a skilled Software Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Software Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to define requirements, optimize processes, and drive the development of software solutions that meet both functional and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and developers, to understand business needs and translate them into detailed software requirements and specifications.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for optimization and propose solutions that align with business objectives.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams to ensure clarity and alignment among teams.
- Liaison Between Teams: Act as a bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring both sides are aligned on project goals, scope, and expectations.
- Support Development: Work closely with development teams during the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure that requirements are understood, solutions are delivered as per specifications, and adjustments are made when necessary.
- Testing & Validation: Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that the final product meets the original requirements and business goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project progress, challenges, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely decision-making.
- Market Research & Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in blockchain technology to identify potential improvements or opportunities for Certchain’s products.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software or technology-driven environment. Experience in blockchain or credential verification systems is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN, JIRA, Confluence).
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology or decentralized systems is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex processes and translate them into clear requirements and actionable tasks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: 150,000 PHP (160 Hours)
