About the role:

As an Expert JavaScript Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for a financial and professional services firm that specializes in real estate and investment management. We are looking for an expert front-end engineer to lead the development of an internal component library within our organization. This role will involve designing, building, and maintaining a versatile library of Web Components (with Stencil) that can be used across various front-end frameworks, including React, Vue, and Angular. The engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams, including design and engineering, to ensure the library meets the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics. They will oversee the entire project independently, actively engage with the internal community to handle issues, guide contributions, and ensure the project’s success.


Responsibilities:

  • Creates technical solution design as Architecture Decision Record to address software design challenges and ensure its implementation
  • Guides development workflow (reviews requirements, planning, highlights edge cases), defines and implements the engineering standards
  • Participate in the hiring process and technical interview activities
  • Provide high-level technical abstract based on clients’ needs ( e.g. pre-sale, etc)
  • Responsible for the professional growth of more junior team members on the project and unit demand. Line manager responsibilities

  • Software Design:
  • Proven experience in designing solutions using development standards with scalability in mind
  • Ensuring the team’s implementation of suggested architectural decisions
  • Software development:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Strong knowledge of Web Components
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with frontend frameworks
  • Collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Successful cases in defining testing approaches (tools, types, metrics) and quality gates (SonarQube)
  • Proficient in configuring monitoring
  • Software Deployment:
  • In-depth proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Experienced in defining and implementing release strategy
