Role Overview

As the Litigation Claims Manager, you will take on a leadership role, guiding a team of proficient claims professionals. We seek an individual with a robust foundation in leveraging technology and analytics to drive operational efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee complex and high-exposure claims, particularly in the realm of Commercial Transportation.
  • Ensure consistent achievement and surpassing of performance targets while navigating challenges.
  • Implement and sustain best practices for effective claims handling procedures.
  • Align team efforts with client expectations to enhance satisfaction.
  • Attract, recruit, train, and retain top-tier talent.

  • Guarantee precision and adequacy in claim reserving operations.
  • Serve as an expert resource for escalated claims and complex issue resolutions.

  • Assist in trial preparations and engage with external vendors as needed.
  • Generate and present comprehensive claims reports and analyses to clients, offering insights on trends and loss mitigation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or a related field; JD is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of claims adjusting experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership capacity overseeing litigated claims; legal experience is advantageous.
  • Expertise in claims law, legal procedures, and conducting legal research.
  • Experience in managing remote teams is preferred.
