This is a remote position.

Full-time (40 hours a week)
Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm *includes 1 hr unpaid break

As the HR Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the human resources function in this growing organization. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company’s growth objectives
  • Lead the recruitment process to attract top talent in the trade industry
  • Create and maintain comprehensive employee handbooks and safety protocols
  • Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Design and implement an effective onboarding process for new hires
  • Develop and oversee training programs to enhance employee skills and safety awareness
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal processes
  • Advise management on HR best practices and industry trends
Requirements
  • Proven HR management experience, ideally in a service-based or trade industry
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Experience in creating safety protocols and employee handbooks
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically
  • Flexibility to occasionally work on-site as needed
