This is a remote position.

Job Overview: 

The HR Recruitment, Training, and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee recruitment, onboarding, staff training, and compliance within the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring that the organization adheres to legislative and regulatory requirements while fostering a supportive and efficient workplace for all employees. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supporting staff development and organizational compliance.


Job Description:

1. Recruitment and New Staff Onboarding:
  • Job Advertising & Screening: Post job advertisements on relevant platforms, screen applications, and coordinate interviews
  • Reference Checks & Contracts: Conduct reference checks, prepare employment contracts, and facilitate the offer process.
  • Personnel Documentation: Collect and file necessary documentation including certificates (First Aid, CPR, Working with Children), qualifications, CVs, insurance, and conduct compliance checks.
2. Staff Training & Development:
  • Training Needs Analysis: Identify and address training gaps and development needs for all staff.
  • Performance Check-ins: Regularly follow up with new employees to assess their performance, well-being, and support needs
  • Training Sessions: Organize and deliver staff training, refresher courses, and professional development sessions.
  • eLearning Management: Oversee and manage monthly eLearning programs and compliance training.
3. New Staff Inductions:
  • Induction Process: Coordinate and deliver inductions to ensure new employees are familiar with company policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Documentation & ID Issuance: Ensure all induction paperwork is completed, issue staff IDs, and notify management of completion.
4. Compliance Management:
  • Compliance Calendar: Maintain a compliance calendar and conduct regular reviews with management to ensure timely adherence to deadlines.
  • Policies & Procedures: Regularly update policies and procedures to ensure they comply with relevant legislation.
  • Compliance Documentation: Maintain and update compliance registers, records, and files to ensure company-wide adherence to legal and industry standards.
5. Staff Compliance & Personnel Files:
  • Certification Management: Monitor staff certifications, including First Aid, CPR, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Certification Reminders: Send timely reminders to staff regarding expiring certifications to ensure compliance before shifts.
  • File Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files, ensuring they are complete and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.

Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Experience:Experience in an HR, compliance, or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare, community service, or similar setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (e.g., HRIS, LMS).
  • Experience with compliance management software is a plus.
  • Knowledge:Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
