  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports (PAYG, KiwiSaver, superannuation, etc.).
  • Upload and reconcile payroll journals and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with the Payroll/HR Operations Manager to implement solutions.
  • Conduct system audits to ensure robust internal controls and mitigate risks.

Compliance:

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant Australian and New Zealand payroll laws, including payroll tax, workers' compensation, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage and submit all necessary payroll reports, including PAYG, KiwiSaver, superannuation, and other legal deductions.
  • Oversee the payment of superannuation contributions, ensuring compliance with SGC requirements.
  • Ensure FBT reporting is completed accurately through payroll.
  • Respond to Centrelink and IRD requests for information.

System Coordination (UKG Ready - Kronos):

  • Provide training and support to managers and employees on system usage.
  • Monitor and audit system data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in implementing new functionalities or processes to improve payroll and HR operations.

Qualifications
