Job description

Summary Job Description:

Agile IT Project Manager (APM) is responsible for the timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions that drive key business strategies. The APM is responsible for creating agile plans, reporting status to management, resolving critical project issues, and building an effective project team.

Responsibilities:

Leads the overall delivery management of project

Management of project timelines and ensuring such are delivered on-time, on-budget, and on-scope.

End-to-end project management and ownership of the entire Project Management Lifecycle and its process from beginning to end.

Keeps a detailed understanding of the project in terms of business and technical deliverables.

Can preside over the Business Analysis activity phase and facilitate meetings between the Business Analyst and project stakeholders, product owners, IT and users.

Creates and manages the detailed timeline for project execution and ensures that resources are always aligned with such.

Optimizes utilization of available resources to deliver project activities within the required timeframes and agreed quality and scope.

Coaches, mentors, motivates and supervises project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Facilitates learning through post mortem and sprint retrospective.

Provides direct supervision and mentoring to project team members.

Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Ensures that implemented solution is based on the Solutions Architects design and is aligned with the Enterprise Architecture.

Qualifications:

Must have three (3) years minimum experience in leading teams to deliver projects on: software development, IT Solutions and system integration using agile..

Good to have exposure in mobile application development projects.

Ability to execute end to end Project Management.

Good to have exposure in facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (sprint planning, sprint review, etc.).

Good to have exposure handling mobile application projects or exposure working in a Fintech Company is a plus.

Amenable to Temporary work from home set up.

Must be graduate of any BS/ BA course or equivalent, an IT course graduate is a plus.
