Requirements

What do we need?

We are looking out for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure. You will work cross-functionally to automate processes, improve system reliability, and scale our platform. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise to help us accomplish our mission to partner with our clients and meet their needs in the most innovative way possible.


Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and infrastructure needs.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code scripts and templates for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Implement and manage configuration management tools for efficient and consistent software deployments.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and proactively identify and address issues.
  • Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and implement necessary measures.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to optimize infrastructure, automate manual processes, and drive efficiency.
  • Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to provide insights into system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely response and resolution to production incidents.
  • Document processes, procedures, and configurations to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud, including services and networking concepts.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK stack, or Splunk.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
