Scope of responsibilities:

Participating in Scrum team testing activities and supporting test strategy execution.
Promoting testing knowledge within the Agile team and assisting developers with testing.
Sharing expertise in testing tools and encouraging improvements.
Defining metrics and promoting testing awareness across Engineering.
Implementing a shift-left approach and defining test data requirements.
Reviewing requirements and user stories for feedback.
Designing, developing, and running automation scripts and frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured).
Managing continuous integration (Jenkins) and leading the team toward continuous testing.
Collaborating closely with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers to meet objectives.
Engaging in exploratory testing and improving product quality.
Coaching other SDETs and developers.

Here’s a set of skills we require:

8+ years of experience in Test Automation.
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools (e.g., JIRA), and processes.
Proficiency in Java and/or TypeScript with hands-on experience in automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured).
Experience with DevOps, Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Ability to identify flaws in testing processes, toolsets, and infrastructure, and propose necessary improvements.
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English (at least C1).

Nice to have:

Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Skill in combining automation with manual testing, particularly exploratory testing.
