The Care Delivery Operations Leader will oversee and manage the operations of our virtual and in-home clinical care delivery model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the operations of clinical teams, optimizing care delivery processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving the growth and success of the care model.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and administrative staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that prioritizes patient care, quality, and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development of clinical and administrative staff.
  • Clinical Operations
    • Develop and implement operational protocols and workflows that support efficient and high-quality virtual and in-home care delivery.
    • Monitor and manage day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring seamless coordination between virtual care, in-home services, and community providers..
    • Optimize resource allocation, including staffing, scheduling, and equipment utilization, to meet patient needs and organizational goals.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations (Medicare, Medicaid, Health Plan, State-guidance), accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
    • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction, quality metric tracking, patient safety, and outcome measures.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of clinical activities
    • Ensure adherence to privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Patient Experience
    • Develop and maintain patient-centric care models that prioritize accessibility, convenience, and personalized care that are integrated across systems.
    • Oversee the patient experience, ensuring smooth onboarding and continuous engagement throughout the care journey.
    • Address patient concerns and feedback promptly, aiming to enhance overall patient satisfaction and trust.
  • Financial Management:
    • Collaborate with the finance and billing teams to, including vendor support, to manage revenue cycle.
    • Ensure accurate billing and coding.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement within the clinical operations.
  • Technology Integration
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration electronic health records (EHR) systems with other technologies to streamline data input, reporting, and data integration.
    • Ensure staff are trained on and proficient with relevant healthcare technology and tools.
  • Strategic Planning and Growth
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization’s strategic plan, particularly in expanding virtual and in-home care services into new markets.
    • Identify and implement new service lines or care programs that align with patient needs and market demands.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and community partners.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role has supervisory responsibilities for the in-home care delivery team.  

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in clinical operations management, with at least 3 years in a virtual or in-home care setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and best practices in virtual and in-home care delivery.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement operational protocols and workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and optimizing resources.
  • Proficiency in healthcare technology and EHR systems.
  • Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of clinical operations, coordinating across geographies and functions, coordinating across geographies and functions, and patient-centered care in a virtual and home-based setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.

 PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in and managing teams in a fully distributed environment.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration or business administration required.

 LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION

  • No licensures or certifications are required for this role.

SALARY

  • $110,000 - $160,000
