Position Title: Data Analyst
Department: Business Intelligence
Reports To: Business Intelligence Manager
Location: Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for analyzing data, generating insights, and supporting decision-making processes across various departments. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, has strong problem-solving skills, and is eager to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Use SQL to query databases and generate reports for stakeholders.
Create visualizations and dashboards using Amazon Quicksight and BrightGauge to communicate data insights effectively.
Collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive business performance.
Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills:

Microsoft Excel: Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas for data analysis.
Data Visualization Tools: Experience with Amazon QuickSight , BrightGauge, Power BI or similar dashboarding tool.
Statistical Analysis: Basic understanding of statistical concepts such as mean, median, variance, and regression analysis.
Data Cleaning & Preparation: Experience with cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis.
Critical Thinking: Ability to approach problems analytically and offer data-driven insights.
Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and completeness in analysis, reporting, and data interpretation.

Optional but a Plus:

Python: Familiarity with Python and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for automating and conducting more advanced data analysis.
SQL: Ability to write and execute SQL queries to manipulate and extract data.

Soft Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical data insights to non-technical stakeholders from C-Suite down
Excellent presentation skills for sharing data insights and reports with various teams.
Problem-solving mindset and an eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
