Vice President, HUB Operations


Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general direction of the President and CEO or Sr. VP of HUB Operations, the Vice President of HUB Operations acts as a liaison between manufacturer program teams, upper management and the client. He/she is a leader who is responsible for maintaining and expanding business opportunities within existing client companies and potential clients. They must understand call center operations, the specialty pharmacy marketplace and related services provided.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Coach, develop and hold program management team accountable for delivering areas of responsibility and exceeding client expectations.
  2. Identify and prioritize key client targets within existing client companies based on strategic goals and objectives.
  3. Outline specific strategies to pursue, retain and grow client base.
  4. Understand competitive market conditions and forecast trends.
  5. Research and understand client needs, product offerings, competitive threats and most significant issues and challenges.
  6. Provide customized solutions to specific client needs.
  7. Deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
  8. Rigorous follow-up with key stakeholders to determine status of business and communicate status updates internally.
  9. Responsible for overall client satisfaction and measurement of client satisfaction.
  10. Maintain client contacts to keep abreast of advancements and developments in the industry.
  11. Identify revenue opportunities within the framework of the organization-wide strategy.
  12. Travel required for client visits, industry conferences and product training
  13. Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Requires a minimum of seven years of demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or healthcare hub services marketing. 
  2. Talent for building and creating program teams to meet the client needs.  
  3. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required and a Master’s degree preferred. 
  4. Must have expert data analysis, reporting, interpretation, presentation skills and the ability to develop superior product knowledge. 
  5. Must be comfortable and proficient with client services processes from onboarding to results measurement and ensuing growth.

MINIUMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ability to communicate effectively through verbal, written and presentation skills.
  2. Must have demonstrated leadership and organization skills.
  3. Ability to drive strategic partnerships by relating to client needs and producing creative and innovative solutions.
  4. Must be able to work as an effective leader and collaborative team member.
  5. Must have knowledge of current best practices in all aspects of strategic corporate and integrated operations.
