Job Description Summary
This role is part of the GE Aerospace Total Rewards Communications Team and will partner with the Total Rewards team and business leadership to provide functional expertise and help drive effective implementation and deployment of key Total Rewards communications. The Total Rewards Communications Lead will be responsible for the strategy, delivery and operational execution of global Total Rewards communications in support of GE Aerospace’s differentiated offerings.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience when it comes Total Rewards communications and be able to drive both strategic planning and operational execution.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Partners closely with the GE Aerospace Total Rewards and People Operations teams to develop strategic plans and effectively implement and deploy key communications based on business needs.
  • Design, write, edit, and deploy Total Rewards communications materials that inform, engage, and educate GE Aerospace employees on our offerings and reinforce our brand as an employer of choice.
  • Recommend and plan communication strategies, programs or activities that address specific business issues or employee needs and achieve desired results.
  • Deliver and execute on both business-as-usual operational communications as well as support strategic Total Rewards initiatives and events aligned to the needs of the business.
  • Partner across multiple stakeholders to develop and implement creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization.  
  • Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform strategic communication plans and decision making process and provide guidance to key stakeholders.
  • Develop Total Rewards communications in various media, including web, social, email / newsletters, print, digital signage, posters, mailings, etc.
  • The right candidate should have experience partnering across multiple stakeholders to synthesize inputs and deliver solutions that meet broader business needs.  

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in related field

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Communications role

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior experience in Total Rewards communications in a large global setting and/or with a large multi-national Corporation preferred
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft programs
  • Strong writing skills developing messaging to deploy across written, video, graphic, and other forms of content
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proactively seeks feedback from various stakeholders and develops methods to gather and act on feedback
  • Must be creative and able to adapt quickly in a changing environment
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and simultaneously managing multiple inputs on multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

This position may be eligible for the following flexible work arrangements (FWA):

The base pay range for this position is 93,000.00 - 155,100.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 10/10/2024.
