JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, Digital Media Buying at Original X Productions will lead the execution of digital media buying campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google platforms (Search, Display, YouTube). This role is highly focused on hands-on management of media buys, targeting, and optimizations, ensuring campaigns are data-driven and performance-oriented. The Sr. Manager will oversee A/B testing, audience segmentation, and real-time adjustments to maximize ticket sales for our location-based entertainment experiences. While primarily focused on Meta and Google, this role will also leverage emerging platforms like TikTok and Programmatic Video as part of a multi-channel strategy. The ideal candidate is a media-buying expert who can execute campaigns end-to-end and thrives on optimizing performance in a fast-paced environment.

Hands-On Media Buying & Execution:
  • Lead the planning and execution of digital media campaigns, with a primary focus on paid social, search and affiliate including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (Search, Display, YouTube) platforms.
  • Drive revenue and customer growth with an eye to the best practices to identify, acquire, and retain high quality new customers.
  • Be hands-on in day-to-day media buys, A/B testing, and optimization of targeting, content, keywords, and creative across platforms.
  • Leverage IP partner channels when appropriate to expand reach and performance.
 
Campaign Management & Optimization:
  • Work hand-in-hand with key internal stakeholders, identify new channels for growth; formulate a plan for success and manage the implementation of the plan while constantly testing, measuring, and optimizing.
  • Execute paid digital media buys, constantly refining campaign settings to maximize performance (ROAS, CTR, CPA).
  • Actively adjust targeting, placements, and budgets based on real-time performance data.
  • Run A/B tests to optimize campaigns for audience segments, creatives, messaging, and landing pages.
 
Budget Management:
  • Manage and allocate digital media budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI.
  • Develop and manage annual paid digital marketing budget across multiple paid channels and markets to ensure optimal performance and ROAS.
  • Monitor daily spends across channels to ensure campaign delivery aligns with budget targets and objectives.
Reporting & Insights:
Provide detailed and actionable insights on campaign performance, focusing on core KPIs and suggesting optimizations based on data and insights that feed future strategies.
  • Report on both channel-level and market-level performance, trends, challenges, successes, and opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify trends, insights and opportunities that can be actioned upon; brief the relevant teams to implement and measure new tactics, content, initiatives, etc. and adapt quickly to optimize.
Cross-Channel Integration:
  • Ensure that paid media efforts align with overall campaign strategies.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging, creative, and timing across all digital and traditional channels.
  • Leverage IP partner channels if/when appropriate to enhance campaign reach and effectiveness.
Vendor & Platform Relationships:
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors, platforms, and external partners to stay updated on new tools, features, and best practices that can enhance campaign performance.
  • Lead negotiations with media partners to ensure cost-effective placements and access to premium inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6-8 years of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying, with a strong focus on digital channels, preferably in the entertainment or live events industry.
  • Expertise in Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) is a must.
  • Demonstrated success in budget planning, management and optimization for maximum ROI.
  • Proficiency in media buying platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and The Trade Desk, along with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for campaign optimization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • A team player with strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.



The salary range for this role considers a range of variables and may include but is not limited to; experience, training, skills sets, business needs, travel. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000- $120,000 This range has not been adjusted based on the geographic location of the successful incumbent.
