We're seeking an addition to our Technical Operations team! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of deploying components to SFDC environments, crafting and optimizing strategies, and automating processes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries. Your responsibilities will include advising on and implementing environment strategies, streamlining deployment processes for both internal and external clients, creating and delivering customer environments, developing automation to accelerate solution delivery, including deployments and testing, and designing and implementing automated test suites for customer solutions. This position offers a strategic and highly visible role, collaborating with project teams across internal departments, partners, and customers to ensure the successful delivery of nCino solutions using cutting-edge technical skills and tools.
Responsibilities
Perform release management tasks for packaging and deploying Salesforce metadata and nCino record-based configuration to deliver nCino business solutions to financial services customers
Manage all aspects of the Technical Operations tasks for assigned projects as a consultant to the financial services customer to drive confidence and adoption of nCino deliveries
Define and create structured solutions to support the delivery of high-quality DevOps services: deployments of nCino product solutions, automated testing suites for nCino product solutions, support and enhancement of tools utilized in the delivery of the solutions, and associated processes for the deliveries
Analyze and troubleshoot technical deployment issues working collaboratively with project team members
Drive process improvements to mitigate issues from recurring; identifying an approach which includes proof of concepts and research to ensure the root cause of the issue is resolved with a focus on delivering high-quality DevOps services
Manage deployments to the various Salesforce environments based on the environment strategy defined for the project utilizing defined best practices
Collaborate with technical project team members on environment management strategies to ensure business and technical needs are met while confirming solid change control processes are being followed to ensure quality deliveries
Ability to lead deployments for multiple financial services customers simultaneously
Strengthen knowledge and technical expertise in the following areas: nCino products, Salesforce functionality, AutoRabit deployment tool, AccelQ automated testing tool to drive exceptional quality deployments, and DevOps industry trends and standards
Lead technical quality reviews for the deployable solution components to ensure adherence to nCino Gold Standards and best practices to releasing SF and nCino applications
Coach and mentor junior team members on best practices, tools, and industry standards related to services provided by Technical Operations (e.g. release management, automated testing, tools (AutoRabit, AccelQ)
Assist peers as needed to mitigate issues, and deliver deployments to meet project timelines
Empower customers as the nCino change agent and trusted advisor for environment and release management practices
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience or combination of client-facing consulting and/or Salesforce/SaaS enterprise architecture or related application configuration technical experience
Salesforce Administrator certification, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
Salesforce App Builder certification or Salesforce Development Lifecycle and Deployment certification, or the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
Experience deploying configuration and data across Salesforce environments with Salesforce metadata knowledge
Environment and release management experience (DevOps) leveraging Application Lifecycle Management, CI/CD, Testing, and Source Control tools/processes (e.g. AutoRabit, GearSet, ANT, SF ChangeSets, Copado)
Experience managing tasks in multiple concurrent workstreams (different projects for financial services customers)
Fundamental analytical and presentation skills to articulate findings in a clear and concise manner, to both technical and non-technical individuals
Adept use of complimentary tools for the Salesforce ecosystem (e.g. Developer Console, DataLoader)
Desired:
Experience working with automated testing tools (e.g. AccelQ)
Agile project methodology and project life cycle(s) experience and associated tools (e.g. Smartsheet, GitHub)
Exposure to automated testing tools and practices
Client-facing consulting experience

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The base salary range for this job is:
$95,600.00 - $162,500.00
