Proposal Manager

Bestica, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Writer / Manager who will primarily work remotely.

This is an Independent Contractor role. (1099)
 
Key Role: Collaborate with Capture Managers, Solution Architects, and SMEs to understand solutions, identify and document discriminators and innovations, and write proposal content that is compliant and compelling. Role will be responsible to incorporate themes and key messages to differentiate proposals from competitors, interview SMEs, and write management and technical proposal sections, RFI responses, and a variety of Plans required for Federal Government bids. Responsibilities include the following.

• Co-write assignments, varying in length and detail, for various sized Federal Government responses, including large, complex RFPs that require research, analysis, creativity, and judgment to write a compelling, compliant response.
• Collaborate closely with Director of Proposal Development, Business Developers, Capture Managers, SMEs, and Proposal Facilitators
• Conduct compliance reviews, identify gaps, and collaborate across Bestica, Inc., its subsidiaries, and subcontractors to enhance content.
• Qualify Bestica, Inc. capabilities; comply with RFP requirements and legal guidelines.
• Participate in Color Team reviews.
• Support the gathering, writing, archiving, and indexing of corporate processes and re-use data for Bestica, Inc. knowledgebase libraries.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in identifying, decomposing, and responding to Federal Government solicitations for technical, management, resume, past performance, experience, and Plan requirements.
• 3+ years of experience as a communications or technical writer; education may substitute experience.
• Ability to organize, manage, and collaborate with other authors and various levels of internal staff and teammates.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous assignments and meet critical deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree required [English, Journalism, Technical Writing degrees preferred]
