THE ROLE

Here at Career.io, we are looking for an experienced Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to join our rapidly growing, dynamic team. As the CRO Specialist you will be responsible for converting users of Resume.io  and Career.Io to long term subscriptions. In this role you will own the day-to-day management of tests to improve how we get customers to improve our app funnel, understand touchpoints and convert them in using our career tools, understand its value and then convert to a long term subscription.

This is a 100% remote/work-from-home role.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzing complex data, providing results of individual tests and revising and refining experiments as needed
  • Strong understanding and tracking of metrics related to Conversion rate, Revenue per user, and Lifetime value. 
  • Understand modern tactics of improving website conversion from homepage to sign up to payment. Understand how user experience and website elements interact with each other and how to optimize that
  • Improve conversion rate from sign up to payment, increase engagement rate and decrease cancellation rate
  • Work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders, in multiple departments
  • An obsession with consumer engagement for long term relationships
  • Participate in weekly strategic brainstorming sessions per  the testing roadmap 
  • Engage 600K users a month to get them to use our product and work to convert to a long term subscription.

THE MUST-HAVES

  • A/B and multivariate testing experience
  • Strong understanding of Data Analytics Principles and Practice
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivated
  • A combination of skills related to Product, Project Management
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Strong understanding of subscription based B2C company models
THE NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Experience with a testing platform such as Optimizely, VWO, Kameleoon.
  • Experience with Mixpanel or Amplitude
