The Director of Engineering will lead and scale the highly skilled team of engineers that design, develop, and maintain our Track PMS, Track Revenue Management and Track ECommerce suite of solutions.

Do these responsibilities describe what you like doing?

  • Lead and scale various onshore and offshore development teams
  • Work closely with the QA Manager and Lead PMs to build and maintain existing and new product solutions
  • Facilitate communication among clients/customers and engineers, ensuring specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood
  • Serve as project manager for multiple projects, creating timelines and cost projections, organizing collaborative meetings, and ensuring projects comply with specifications, timelines, and budgets
  • Review work and projects for technical accuracy. Be the technical sounding board for the developers and QA team members in order to improve code quality meeting the industry SaaS standards
  • Establish, scale, implement and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and standards
  • Prepare and execute departmental budget
  • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors
  • Maintain knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials, and best practices; applies this knowledge to continually improve product lines and production efficiency
  • Translate the overall business strategy into day-to-day execution, providing coaching and feedback to teams
  • Bring broad and long-term perspective to decisions
  • Develop, mentor, and coach the team as well as others to become stronger leaders, thinkers, and innovators who can effectively advance ideas into action
  • Partner with direct reports to create an open, positive team environment whereby each member feels empowered and engaged to contribute at the highest possible level


What are some must-haves?

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

15+ years experience in the field

5+ years experience leading a remote team

Strong preference for previous experience working in the Hospitality Industry
