This role allows for flexibility, as you will work in the office two days a week while completing the remainder of your work remotely. The position is available in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, or Seattle, depending on your location. A background in electrical engineering work in California is a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities

As An Associate Electrical Engineer, You Will Have The Opportunity To Apply Your Expertise In Building Services Systems Across An Array Of Innovative Projects Both Domestically And Internationally. Your Contributions Will Include

  • Collaborating with clients, architects, and fellow engineers on diverse projects.
  • Producing coordinated design drawings, specifications, reports, and schedules relevant to the electrical discipline.
  • Organizing technical and financial proposals for prospective work.
  • Managing the workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Taking responsibility for preliminary engineering solutions leading to detailed designs.
  • Overseeing technical specifications and monitoring project financial performance.
  • Mentoring junior Electrical Engineers to foster their professional growth.
  • Aligning practices with current legislation and building codes, ensuring the best interests of clients and company policies are met.
  • Proactively managing personal and team workloads to meet deadlines and balance resource utilization effectively.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Over 8 years of experience in electrical engineering design within the building services and construction sector.
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with computational analysis tools related to electrical fault analysis and lighting design.
  • Strong technical acumen in electrical systems, coupled with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to present solutions effectively to high-level stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing technical reports tailored for client audiences.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold:
