JOB DESCRIPTION
The Site Reliability Eng III builds and maintains a cloud-based fully automated system for software delivery from development to deployment.

Responsibility
- Select, build, and use technologies based on user needs and infrastructure resources.
- Provide technical guidance to other engineering groups on system architecture, reliability, performance, capacity planning, and monitoring.
- Provide DevOps expertise for key Myriad services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and correct applications and server problems as needed.
- Assist with on-call needs for critical outages as part of a scheduled rotation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with software development with basic knowledge of source control systems.
- 2+ years of experience with coding in Python, C#, Java, or other similar language.
- General knowledge of cloud-based computing options, preferably AWS.
- Experience with containerized workloads, preferably with container orchestration.
- 5+ years of experience working in development or sys admin role with in-depth knowledge of shell/PowerShell scripting.
- Effective communication skills with a commitment to self-directed learning.
- Experience with designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems preferred.
Physical Requirements
Lifting Requirements – light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements – stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing, or pulling, and reaching. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
