Job Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Mortgage Loan Follow-Up Specialist at our Corporate Campus in Cleveland, OH, offering a unique hybrid work model. This role is integral to our team, focusing on guiding customers seamlessly through their loan application journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a pipeline of approximately 55-65 loan applications originated through our Customer Care areas, utilizing both phone and online channels.
  • Provide exceptional assistance to customers, responding to inquiries and delivering timely updates regarding their loan status.
  • Employ strong interpersonal skills to accurately assess customer needs and effectively communicate vital financial information and necessary documentation.
  • Excel in a dynamic, team-focused environment while upholding outstanding customer service and communication standards.
  • Leverage PC proficiency and mortgage software experience to manage tasks and documentation efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to assess customer needs with a strong customer-oriented approach.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professional grammar and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a capacity to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
  • Competence in using PCs and familiarity with mortgage software (preferred).

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in processing home equity or mortgage loan applications within a retail banking environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; bilingual skills are advantageous.
