Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and underwrite loan applications to guarantee adherence to bank, FHA/VA, and secondary market standards.
Foster effective communication with processors, lenders, and various internal and external stakeholders.
Examine loan documentation to ensure compliance with investor requirements while tracking any outstanding documents.
Provide expert guidance to clients regarding loan-related inquiries.
Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal laws, regulations, and lending policies.

Required Skills

Proficiency in both Microsoft Word and Excel.
Comprehensive understanding of the Secondary Market, its products, and delivery processes.
Strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
Ability to analyze loan documentation and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is essential.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mortgage underwriter or a certified processor is required.
