High school diploma or equivalent, AS Degree preferred, 1 year of general clerical experience, 1 year generating professional correspondence using Microsoft Word, Experience in a health insurance or medical office preferred, Regular exposure to medical terminology preferred.
Key responsabilities:
- Complete member and provider notification letters based on case information.
- Organize messages for member and provider receipt.
- Follow up with clinical staff for clarifications as needed.
- Identify and use appropriate letter templates for transcriptions.
- Maintain timeframes, quality standards, and provide excellent customer service.
